Rudy J. Baldoni
Rudy J. Baldoni is Chairman and CEO of Newport Investment Associates an Irvine, California based Investment Company. Newport Investment Associates invests in distressed real estate assets throughout the United States and provides early stage investment capital to companies in the technology space. Rudy is Founder and CEO of NIAX.com, a national on-line real estate asset exchange and currently has one patent issued and three patents pending. He is also Chairman of MortgageDocs.com, one of the nation’s largest national signing services companies. Prior to forming Newport Investment Associates, he served in various executive capacities within the Arnel & Affiliates organization, which is owned by former United States Ambassador to Spain, George Argyros. Prior to joining Arnel, Mr. Baldoni was a commercial real estate banker with Security Pacific National Bank and Bank of America in Orange County, California.
Rudy is Vice Chairman of the Board of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and the Past Chairman of the Board for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County and the Inland Empire. He also serves on the Board of USA Water Polo, Inc. and the Center of Real Estate at the Paul Merage School of Business at UCI.
Steve Muller is a CPA with over 25 years of experience in finance, tax and accounting. Prior to joining Newport Investment Associates, he held the CFO position at Bacchus Development where he secured multiple rounds of financings totaling over $250 million. Before working at Bacchus, Steve held executive positions in various prominent real estate companies in Orange County including Koll Development Company and Catellus Residential Group. Steve started his career working for the KPMG accounting firm after graduating from USC. While at KPMG, Steve worked in Perth, Australia as part of their rotational program.
Prior to Joining Newport Investment Associates, David was the CEO of DB Sports Investments, a boutique sports memorabilia company which focuses on rare, high-end memorabilia. In 2001, David was National Sales and Marketing Vice President for Optima Information Solutions, which provided property reports for the top lenders in the nation for their home equity loans. In 2005, the company was acquired in by First American Title Insurance Company and David became a national sales representative for the National Real Estate Solutions Division where he facilitated origination business on all levels for First American’s major lenders. David was then recruited by NRIES and became their National Sales Manager. David started his real estate career back in the early 1990’s with Burke Real Estate Group and then on to Grubb & Ellis Commercial Real Estate where he was a commercial real estate broker in Orange County, California.
